WAB is delighted to announce our selection as a finalist for the 2025 China Schools Awards in both the Arts and Creativity and the Diversity and Inclusion categories. The winners will be revealed at the Awards Gala Dinner on March 7.
Organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in China, these awards celebrate outstanding practices in international Kindergarten to Grade 12 education across China. In each category, WAB is one of three finalists selected from over 110 nominations.
The nomination for the Arts and Creativity Award highlights WAB's commitment to fostering creativity through our arts program across all school sections. Our program supports student passion and engagement through diverse curricular and extracurricular activities and provides students with opportunities to showcase their work through initiatives like WAB Curated.
The Diversity and Inclusion Award nomination reflects WAB's ongoing work in creating an inclusive environment. We emphasize personalized learning pathways and integrated support services while fostering a multilingual atmosphere that respects cultural identities.
"We are very happy to be shortlisted for these two awards. Arts and creativity are essential components of holistic education and reflection of WAB's commitment to nurturing imagination and personalized growth. We also continuously work on building an inclusive and diverse environment where everyone can experience the feeling of belonging", said Dr. Marta Medved Krajnovic, WAB’s Head of School.
Marta further shared, "The nomination for these awards, together with the Science and Technology, Staff Development, and other awards that we won over the past few years, clearly show WAB's commitment to excellence in a multitude of areas that are essential for our students' academic and socio-emotional growth, and their future-readiness."
